At the end of Term 3, Year 5 went on a visit to the Steam Museum in Swindon. They had an excellent time taking part in a range of World War 2 activities. They were able to experience an air raid shelter as well as how it would have felt for war children to be sent away as an evacuee. The children put in a lot of effort to make their own gas mask box and to dress up in World War 2 clothes, which added to the overall success of the day. A wonderful experience for all involved!
