I am Mrs Tracy French. I have been a Head Teacher of a number of primary schools in both Bristol and Wales, I am also an Ofsted Inspector in England and Estyn Inspector in Wales. Having been lucky enough to work in different schools has extended my skills set to all elements of Primary Teaching and Learning, I am then able to use this knowledge to develop all academies within the MAT.
I have four children who have all grown up and two grandchildren on the way. When my children were in education I had very high expectations of the schools they attended, I assume you have those same high expectations of us now and can assure you that our aim is nothing but the best for your children.
Outside school I enjoy travelling, running, during the summer months I work for a charity in Africa building schools and supporting local communities and spending time with my family.
Head of School
I am Miss Craig, I am Head of School at Waycroft Academy and the Inclusion Leader for the MAT. I have particular interests in maths, assessment, safeguarding and supporting children with special educational needs. I am in charge of the day to day running of Waycroft Academy and enjoy celebrating children's successes in assemblies or when they bring me their work.
Prior to teaching at Waycroft, I taught in a junior school in Hampshire and was a Leading maths Teacher. I have also worked in a bakery, florist and a leisure centre leading children’s activity days. Teaching was my dream from a young age.
Outside school I enjoy shopping, eating in nice restaurants and going to the theatre.
Assistant Head of School
I am Miss Beese, I started at Waycroft in 2012. I have taught in Year 3, Year 5 and Year 6. Prior to teaching here, I taught in various schools in Zambia. Furthermore I have worked in a bank and travelled Australia. Outside of school, I enjoy camping, badminton and the occasional bungee jump or skydive!
Assistant Head of School
Hello, I am Mr. Howells and I love being a teacher. I have worked in many schools in Plymouth and have enjoyed my time teaching in Bath before joining this amazing school. I believe that all children have the potential to reach great heights and can succeed. I strive to find what works for every child and to open their mind as the mind is like a parachute, it does not work if it is not open. I love being outdoors and being from the coast I enjoy being near the sea. I follow football and rugby but enjoy all sports and have recently dived head first into swimming at my local centre.
