January 2015 - FizzPop Science 29th Jan 2015

29th January 2015

Today Key Stage 1 had a visit from Combustion Kelly from FizzPop Science. We learned that to be good scientists we need to make observations with our big eyes and to predict what will happen with our science brains!
Kelly taught us all about bubbles. We saw how they can be filled with air or chemicals. They can float or catch fire. They can help to shoot a rocket and we can make giant bubbles, bigger than us! She made bubbles and foam and showed us how we can make our own bubble maker from a plastic bottle covered in fabric. Bath time is going to be lots of fun now!
