May 2015 - Year 3 AIM Event

4th May 2015

On Wednesday 6th May, four Year 3 children were selected to take part in an AIM event at Holymead Primary School, organised by Bristol based company Rolls Royce. With a focus on engineering, our children, along with those from several other local schools, decorated and flew their own paper aeroplanes, used their voices and actions to simulate the thrust created by aircraft engines, and used their imagination and problem solving skills to design transport and entertainment for a desert island dweller named Rocky Steve! A fantastic time was had by all and our thanks go our hosts Holymead and the staff from Rolls Royce who ran the morning.
