October 2015 - Hooke Court 2015

1st October 2015

At the beginning of October, year 4 were lucky enough to go to Hooke Court camp. The three days were jam packed with lots of fun activities that we all loved. On the first day we made sailing boats that we then set sail in the house’s moat. Day 2 was a Victorian day where we wore our costumes and experienced what it would be like to be a Victorian child who wanted a job. The activities we did included writing with a quill, washing, polishing and baking some delicious cakes. On the final day we got to design and make amazing rockets which were fueled by gun powder and went higher than 4 houses. This was extremely exciting and it was almost too close to call who was the winner! The whole camp experience was great fun and we loved every minute of it.
