Mrs Morse

Reading Recovery Teacher

I am Sue Morse. I have been teaching locally for 7 years and I am now a Reading Recovery Teacher. I can be found in Noah’s Ark and anywhere around the school where there are books! I love reading and I am very passionate about children’s literature. I mainly work in KS1 but also with Better Reading Partners across the school. One of my favourite authors is Alexander McCall Smith who writes wonderful evocative stories about South Africa and Scotland amongst other things. Outside of school my hobbies are reading, painting, singing in natural voice choirs, and playing badminton.

Mrs Sage

I am Mrs Sage and I started at Waycroft in September 2015. I have been teaching for 15 years and have loved working in a variety of different schools and year groups. I started my career at a middle school in Somerset, where I am originally from and then moved to Bristol to teach at Ilminster Avenue EACT Academy. My work has mainly been based in Key Stage 2 as a class teacher but also as a leader in healthy schools, pupil voice, behaviour for learning and assessment. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my 2 wonderful children, cooking, watching films and playing in our local park.

Mrs Slee

ECC Teacher

I am Mrs Slee. I have been teaching at Waycroft since 1999. For some years, I have been teaching Numbers Count to children in Year 2. They really enjoy it! In the mornings, I teach children from different classes to help their understanding of number and to make sure they enjoy maths. I have many different games to make learning fun. I teach in the Secret Number Room which is very exciting. I'm afraid I cannot tell you the secret number, or it would not be secret anymore. I have a particular interest in helping children moving from counting to calculating. Outside school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I do craft work and also sing in a choir.

Mrs Trickey

My name is Naomi Trickey and I am the family link worker and pastoral care support for your school. If you see me in school please come and say Hello. I would like to get to know you all, not just if you need some help.

I have worked in Early Education since 2002 and have been a family support work since 2012. I have 2 children and enjoy holidays at my Static Caravan at Ladram Bay. I also enjoy lots of walks with my dog Blue.

Parenting can be very rewarding but also difficult and challenging at times, however by working together as a team we can get through those difficult times. My aim is to provide you and your family with additional support to achieve the best and most positive outcomes.
