School Catering Information

Waycroft Multi Academy Trust have independent catering teams within each Academy, all of which have excellent Health and Safety Awards. Local fresh produce is used so each school can provide a high standard of meal choices. Bread is baked freshly every day and most of the menu is homemade including sauces and desserts. Fresh fruit and vegetables are, where possible, local and delivered daily. Meats are British Red Tractor farm assured and are delivered from local Lye Cross Farm along with award winning cheese and eggs from free range chickens.

Everyday there is a choice of 3 meals: meat, vegetarian and salad bar. Halal meat is also available on request.

The children choose their meal choice at registration, where they are allocated a coloured band to assure their choice of meal selection.

School lunches costs £2.25 per day for a main course and a dessert, which parents and carers pay for in advance, online via our parentpay system.

All of the food we serve across the day is supervised and regulated to meet the school foods standards. Nutritional values are monitored and menus are adapted and tailored, through consultation with the children to meet the needs of all pupils.

We cater for special diets such as allergies and intolerances.

If your child requires a special diet please contact the school to arrange a discussion with the Catering Manager and the Catering Supervisor.
