Waycroft House System

When pupils start at Waycroft Academy they are allocated one of four houses which they proudly display on their school sweatshirts.

The houses are:

Brunel: Isambard Kingdom Brunel was a famous Victorian inventor who was born in Plymouth. He designed the Clifton Suspension bridge and the SS Great Britain.

Cabot: John Cabot was an Italian explorer who set sail from Bristol to North America.

Fry: Named after Elizabeth Fry the prison reformer.

More: Named after the poet and educator who founded the first school in Brislington.
